Context
The bank wanted to launch a co-branded card combining discounted public-transport payments with full banking functionality — and let customers onboard remotely through the partner's digital channels. Delivering it meant coordinating two organizations and several internal teams, and integrating the bank's external APIs with the partner's mobile app for remote identity verification.
My contribution
- Gathered and analyzed business requirements from internal stakeholders and external partners, and coordinated communication with English-speaking partners across the project lifecycle.
- Developed business scenarios and forecasts (baseline, optimistic, pessimistic) and prepared business cases and presentations for senior management and Board approval.
- Defined the product roadmap, business processes and implementation milestones.
- Worked with development teams on integration requirements for the bank's external APIs and the partner's mobile app, enabling remote onboarding with remote identity verification.
- Facilitated cross-functional collaboration across business, IT, operations, legal and compliance, and supported contract management, documentation and post-launch activities.
Approach
- 1Discovery — business scenarios and a 3-point forecast; business case for Board approval.
- 2Requirements — product roadmap, business processes, milestones and API integration requirements (bank APIs ↔ partner app).
- 3Delivery — remote onboarding with identity verification, coordinated across both organizations.
- 4Launch & post-launch — contract management, documentation and monitoring.

Results & metrics
Business value
Delivered the bank's most recent and only fully launched co-branded card — proving a remote-onboarding model and a working API integration with an external partner, while adding a transit value proposition that drives everyday card usage.
What I’d do next / learnings
Coordinating two organizations with English-speaking partners made disciplined requirements and clear milestones the difference between a slipping integration and a launch.
